Nope.Not me.Uh uh.I'd nevahhhhhhh do that... :)
Well I haven't signed RN yet but I have signed LPN a few times. Even on school notes for the kids.
Actually, years ago I incorporated my signature with "RN" so I didn't have to worry about it ever.If I had a penny for the number of times I have signed my name through the years....I would be a multimillionaire. Truth. My signature, btw, is indecipherable...so you can't really tell that the "RN" is what it is....
I routinely sign cheques and credit card bills with "R2" (second year resident) at the end. It's a wee bit embarrassing.
Hilarious! I can't even count the number of time I've done this.Love the disclaimer to use only approved abbreviations!!
"you know you are a nurse when your family starts rating EVERYTHING from 0-10.......
I do this ALL THE TIME. Literally....
You might be a nurse if...you don't find time to blog anymore ;-)
I've answered the phone, "Emergency, RW speaking." before. Yes, yes I have.
I've signed more than just checks that way...
I just did this on a credit receipt. My name, RN, and the date and time. I've spent the last two weeks doing all paper charting and it's giving me weird habits.
RN is now fully integrated into my illegible signature. My boyfriend mercilessly teases me about it.
Feel free to make a note in the chart. (Of course, please avoid any unapproved or unsafe abbreviations.)
